Downloading GeoTeams

Signing up

To sign in to GeoTeams:

1. Open the application or navigate to geoteams.appand you will be presented with the authentication page (if you are not already signed in).
2. Retrieve your 24-word passphrase and copy/paste it into the passphrase field.
3. Click the Sign In button.

Signing in

1. Open the application or navigate to geoteams.appand you will be presented with the authentication page (if you are not already signed in).
2. Click the Sign Up tab
3. A 24-word passphrase will be generated for you. Click the Copy Passphrase button and paste it somewhere safe (e.g. a password manager).
4. Enter your default display name (you can change your display name per team later)
5. Click the Sign Up button

Signing out

1. Double check you have your 24-word passphrase saved
2. Navigate to account/details and click the Sign Out button. All GeoTeams data will be deleted from the device but remains encrypted on the global mesh network.

GeoTeams is extremely secure. There is no central identity server that can be compromised or seized by a government or law enforcement agency. The drawback of this is that if your account passphrase is lost, it cannot be recovered.
